BISECTION

Today marks a rather momentous occasion. I'm officially half-done with my book. Sure, you're probably all thinking, "Jesus, five-and-a-half-months and you're only half done?" To that I say, "FUCK YOU!" It's not like this is a work of fiction where I can just make shit up as I go along... This all hinges on facts and having access to information. If I don't have the necessary materials, I'm forced to wait until a point in time when I do. So how about instead of ridicule and stupid questions, you give me some champagne and a motherfucking birthday cake!

Okay, while it's not true that today is my birthday, it is true that today I finished the JK McKnight and Stephen George scenes. I then e-mailed both men to get some final little facts straightened out before I start the San Francisco chapter. It seems like every day I have a new idea I want to try out, or a new direction where I could take this. Nothing is really set in stone for the future, but I feel very comfortable to this point, and I don't see any real setbacks in the future that would prevent me from completing the book in the next few months.

Our celebration, of course, would not be complete without some kind of gift from me to you. So, instead of doing a Top Ten Friday (quite frankly I couldn't think of a funny one, anyway), I'm going to give you 10 MP3's from bands that are featured in the book. I hope you enjoy them all and tell your friends. Just walk up to your friends and tell 'em, "Evan sent me," they'll know what the fuck you mean.
